Dearest Lizzy,

this boy, Tanner, is lifted so high by all of his followers who believe he is a wonderful person. i know it’s hard for him to see that, and he always denies how strong he is, but for such a young boy, he means so much to so many people. they are wonderful people for telling him that he’s amazing and for believing that he is, and those who tell him differently through anonymous messages are ugly cowards.

but sometimes i feel like the people of tumblr who support gays feel as though they are keeping the tumblr-famous gays alive merely through their positiveness and hopeful messages. but no one wants to just live off of water. you can only really live when you taste every other flavor that the world has to offer, and gays are restricted by those who withhold these magnificent flavors from them.

the people who bring ALL hated people down are the problem. once we get the media on board with showing gay couples in commercials or in children’s shows, then we’ll be taking a step toward raising a new generation who fail to see the difference between straight and gay, white and black, but who DO see the difference between hate and love, and how much better one feels over the other.
